‘CAPITAL’ was a month of exhibitions and site-specific works across the city centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. ‘CAPITAL’ featured twenty-seven artists working in the city. Through a variety of work and viewpoints, each artist was invited to examine their relationship to the history, culture and perceptions of a rapidly changing city, one that is repositioning itself as a centre of attention.
