Vane is proud to be participating in Sluice__2015 art fair showing the work of Kerstin Drechsel, Mark Joshua Epstein, Nick Fox, Simon Le Ruez, Jock Mooney, Michael Mulvihill, Stephen Palmer, Morten Schelde, Matthew Smith, and Flora Whiteley.
Sluice__ returns for its third outing, 15-18 October, over five floors of The Bargehouse on London’s South Bank, between Tate Modern and the National Theatre. Sluice__ is a platform for the most exciting and innovative grassroots contemporary art from around the world. This year 35 galleries and artist-run projects will be showcasing their work as part of Sluice__’s characteristically open-plan, accessible and engaging format.
Sluice__ 2015 offers an alternative to the traditional art fair model. Run by artist Karl England, art historian and educator Ben Street and curator Charlie Levine, Sluice__ features individual curated exhibitions and promotes artists that may not necessarily fit the commercial art world model.
